Thank you so much for this Nomeradona.
I'm looking forward to trying it out. -
RE: Abu Simbel WIP
Thanks Michalis and Nomeradona.
Texture baking seems quite the interesting subject.
After a quick google i see that you can render to texture with Vray for 3dsm. Do you know if this is true for Vray for SU?
Lovely Vue renders Solo. -
RE: Help me decide...
I like No.4. The slightly darker image seems to suit the morning/evening red sky.

RE: Abu Simbel WIP
Fantastic images.
One question though: why did you choose that particular workflow?
Does Zbrush not have an appropriate renderer? -
RE: Nairobi House
Thanks Guys,
Very useful comments, I'll work on the ivy and the stone.
Dylan, these were done with VRay, the plants added in photoshop then soft focus added with paint.net.
Adam thanks again for the plants.

Nairobi House
A bit more stone than I'd like but sometimes you have to let the client have his way.
I'm not too pleased with the water bump map but can't find any decent ones.
A big thanks to Adam (Earthmover) for the plants used in these pics.

Thanks so much for this Adam. Very cool of you indeed.
I'd also be interested in the alpha maps. -
RE: Google Model
Thanks David,
A great find. And tiny size too.
Look forward to playing around with this.Modelhead: can you tell me where to get the plugins?
Thanks,

RE: Loads of free 2D realistic cut out people
Thank you very much Roger.
I've been looking for these kind of images for a long time.
You da man! -
RE: The riverside villa in VietNam
These are fantastic. The lighting in the 4th and 6th pictures is beatiful.

Free Screen Recorder ??
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a decent screen recorder and see that there are oodles of them to be found.
Does anyone here have any recomendations?
Thanks,

RE: Nairobi Office Building
Thanks Daniel,
He is a stiff, isn't he. Those figures were taken from the warehouse. I've found that adding 3d figures (without posing and tweaking all the materials in VRay first - exhausting) into the model prior to rendering reduces the realism of the output. Hence the silhouettes in the other pic.

RE: Nairobi Office Building
Thanks eric.
They are a bit bright aren't they.
My photoshop skills need a tweak or two. -
RE: Quick and Dirty - new stuff
Really nice stuff.
Do you use hdri, sun and sky, or a combination of both for your lighting? -
Nairobi Office Building
Part of a competition submission.
Rendered in VRay.
Bad and Worse criticisms welcomed.
