Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries....
*Life is just a bowl of cherries;
Don't make it serious;
Life's too mysterious.
You work, you save, you worry so,
But you can't take your dough when you go, go, go.
So keep repeating it's the berries;
The strongest oak must fall.
The sweet things in life
To you were just loaned,
So how can you lose what you've never owned?
Life is just a bowl of cherries,
So live and laugh at it all.1930's song by Lew Brown and Ray Henderson*

RE: 1st SU Model Revisited
At first I thought the background didn't work for an outdoor scene because of the corner, but I quickly realized this was built indoors and the walls would have been painted with a
this background or similar. Nice work! -
Simple Pendant Lights
It's been some time since I've posted here so I thought I'd step out of my shell.
Modeled in SketchUp rendered in Twilight Render.

RE: 2015 Ford F150
Thanks for your reply Kris, I've heard similar stories about a crash in the F150. They are rated highly in the crash tests. Good point about the window reflections, I may have the reflectivity set somewhat too high.
Cheers,

2015 Ford F150
I've always owned a Ford F150 since I first started to drive. In the anticipation of the upcoming release of the totally newly redesigned 2015 F150, scheduled for sales in a few months, I rendered this version in Twilight Render V2.0 with the new color "Bronze Fire".
The truck is a 3D Warehouse model by captainkirk.
Considerable material, lighting & model tweaks by me. Background is a HDRI. Only 60 minutes to render @1600pix wide!

Mushrooms - Twilight Render 2.0
My first play with the new Twilight Render 2.0. My lawn has many patches of mushrooms growing around, and after mowing the lawn yesterday I was influenced to create this scene.

RE: Technics Turntable
What I wound up doing was to model the dots instead of a texture. The bumpmap for the grooves I created in a CAD program. I see your vinyl looks pretty good. Did you model that or did it come with the model?

RE: Technics Turntable
Thank-you for the
hellnbak, before you give them all away, better make sure there isn't something of great value in that collection

RE: Traditional Tibetan Temple

RE: Beckford's Folly

RE: Technics Turntable
Thanks Solo. The surface of the record is done with a bumpmap.

RE: Technics Turntable
Thanks for the comments. I give credit for the model to jmusic available at 3Dwarehouse, although I did tweak it somewhat.
Yes, jo-ke I can see by your example that I should have a little shallower slope on the platter and arrangement of the dots.
Cheers. -
Technics Turntable
