Chris, when you said that the joint connection tool won't be needed, what do you mean? How will we connect the right joint to the right object?

RE: Control Idea...
Chris is on the last leg of finishing SP3. (at last!) There probably won't be enough time to insert that idea in. Even so, it seems like a rather complex suggestion. However, there is still hope for sketchyphysics 4.

RE: SketchyPhysics3 Update.
Chris. I am extremely happy that you are back on programming.
I was starting to get really worried that perhaps you may have lost interest.

RE: Sketchy replay
The file is not showing up. Anyways, I am not familiar with this "sketchy replay" so I cannot help you.

RE: New joint type found in SP files.

Nice fun file. However I can't see what the object does? Could not the plugs be fed just by gravity?
Perhaps this would be a better example of its potential.
here is a link to a model that contains the joint by itself. However, this particular one is still a bit buggy.

Cool sketchyphysics solids glitch
I noticed that when two sketchyphysics solids are stuck together in a way where they cannot get out easily, they may "dig" themselves into the staticmesh floor in their attempt to get unstuck. It is pretty cool to watch.

RE: SP3 is near...How near anyways?
So, my guess is that it will be released early January.

New joint type found in SP files.
Perhaps you may have noticed in the SP joints folder a little one that looks like a brown spring with an arrow at one end. It appears to be some oscillator/spring combination. However, whenever we tried to attach something to it, that thing would....disappear.
However
A user known as Hobnob has apparently found a way to get this joint to work. The model he used it in can be reached with this link.

RE: Correct plugin
You must download the original sketchyphysics first. After following the instructions, check to see that the first sp works. Then, go to sketchyphysics 2 download and click...i forget which one. This one will have an installer. Run it, and check if everythign works. If they don't work, don't panic. It takes several tries. Fiddle with the file paths, perhaps....

RE: SP3 is near...How near anyways?
Very good. Chris, if you are reading this, I am sorry about what happened to your hand, and I am glad to hear that your cast is off.

RE: Get the old sketchup 6 back
It is hard to get it to work with SP7, but it is still possible actually. Copy the Plugins folder in the SU6 and replace the one in SU7 with it. Idk, but I think thats what I did. I forget. Regardless, it wont matter, as you can download models from the warehouse as su6, even if they were uploaded as Su7.

What is the difference between ball joints and universals?
While I have found some minor differences, I haven't found much that separates the two. In fact, it seems as though that ball joints are actually a SUPERIOR version of universal joints. Please enlighten me and explain the major differences.

Okay, I want to help
I have talked about it for a while. Now the time has come. I want to help. Tell me how to do it, and I will try my best. While my skills may be limited now, I think I am good at documentation, and may eventually come to understand the programming behind Sketchyphysics. (I have programmed basic flash games before.)

SP3 is near...How near anyways?
We all know that the awaited Sketchyphysics 3 is approaching completion (We all owe you, CPhillips) However, I am wondering. While I know it should be released this month (december,) should I be checking the website every day now?

Can't get SP2 to work with SU7
I can't seem to get sketchyphysics2 to work for SketchUp7. I can get sketchyphysics 1 to work, but not SP2. Help!

Why does the collision system work the way it does?
I was wondering. Why is it that the collision system in Skecthyphysics works the way it does. Why is it that it can't use the wireframe of the mesh to create a concave collisian border for the object?
