Thank you all for your fedback
I use layers all the time... but when I get to rendering in kerkythea... eh my vintage i7 4790k doesn't handle it very well
I could invest in a new processor and graphics... but there are always other needs
Thank you all for your fedback

Hi everyone, I started the model of a new tank
as my previous tank model turned out to be too complicated for my old computer: https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=333&t=70373
so I decided to create something simpler with fewer polygons
For now I made the hull.
Nothing unusual, simple shapes with lots of screws and rivets, no textures(random texture from the web)
To be continued
BTW sorry for my English
After a 2 year break ,I returned to work on the model.Cartridges have been made.
There was also a pistol magazine, but the dimensions were wrong, so I have to start from the beginning
I finished the model

Thank you all for your interest and opinions
Hello.
Here is a model of a two-shot pistol Double Tap.
Link to WIP: https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=333&t=75397&p=689479#p689479****
I was going to try a more professional rendering program and better textures....
Unfortunately, I exaggerated with details and the model became too complicated for my old computer ( i7-4790K ,gtx 1060)
So, as always in my posts, simple renders from Ketkythea...
And a pair of pistols in both calibers at the end
As always, the model can be downloaded by everyone:

Regards, and sorry for my english
Thanks everyone for the feedback
First attempts at texturing i
rendering....
I still have a lot of work to do...
BTW Sorry for my broken english ..
,,Next update in a week "
yes, week or half of the year
Anyway, I'm slowly getting back into sketchup
The model is practically finished.
Fast renders with random textures :
I have to correct some errors in the model, clean the model of unnecessary things, and create textures and rendering...
BTW Sorry for my broken english ..
Thanks to the fact that it's the weekend, I managed to find some time to work with the model
I made a barrel:
At the moment the model looks like this:
Next update in a week
After about a year break, I'm coming back to modeling in sketchup.
After such a long break, I need to remember the basic things about sketchup....
So I decided to start with a model of something simple:
since I am interested in firearms, it will be a pistol
[pre:1xqtqfuf]DoubleTap Pistol/Derringer[/pre:1xqtqfuf]
This is what the original looks like:
This is what I managed to do in two evenings:
There are a few things that need to be fixed, but I think it's not bad for a year off
To be continued...
Best regards
BTW Sorry for my broken english ....
Thanks for the feedback !!!
Unfortunately, I didn't do much in the model of the tank.
I made towing hooks, radio antenna, reflector, driver's sight, equipment holders and some other small elements.
I stopped at the stage of modeling the suspension of the tank, due to its compilation I am afraid that my current computer will not be able to handle further work on the model
Maybe someday I'll make a simple render to show the progress of work on the model
After a loooooooooooooong break , I started to play with the sketch UP .
I took something simple to start with.Due to my military interests, the object whose model I am working on should not surprise anyone
This is what the model mesh looks like at the moment:
Model statistics:
Finally, a simple render, with random textures and lighting:
I'll have to fix a few bugs and model some missing pieces, and finally something I really don't like - textures ... I must finally learn how to use photoshop
Still working on the model, update soon.
Best regards
BTW Sorry for my broken english ....
After a half-year break , I returned to this model.
For now, I've only done a lot of rivets and screws
To be continued ...... I hope
Thanks.
I use photos, drawings and a paper model of this tank.
