how do you create sketchup plugin such as a dialog appears when you click on icon and says select what you need and skp model forms as component and loads it in.

I was designing a mosque i had similar problem. But managed to fix it by select one of the face.

-press Q(rotate)
-from centre axis along blue axis(z-axis)
-press CTRL
-rotate and place it on points

• times by number side of the shape
  for e.g octagon x8
  -press enter
  done
