Wonderful model Ken. That attention to detail is the reason you never have any free time As always, thanks for sharing.
A.
Thanks for your kind words, Andy.
Hi everyone,
It has been a while I have not posted concepts I did for Simcity.
So here they are.
Have a great day!

Maybe we should have a subfolder under "most impressive Sketchup modeling" and have Ken post all his work there.
LOL...thank you for your kind words, Daniel. But I believe there are many talented people in this forum who deserve their own "most impressive Sketchup modeling" subfolder. I have seen lots wonderful models and renders. Keep them coming. You all inspire me.
All the Best,
_KN
Very nice model, Marius.
I look forward to seeing the WIP and the final model.
Cheers!

Orgelf: Your stuff is really insane, weird and crazy...in a good way of course.
I think you deserve to be the Salvador Dali of SketchUp.
Cheers!
_KN
Very nice render, Majid.
On suggestion: I would try to make the textures less repetitive. It is a minor thing, but it will make your renders more realistic and believable.
Cheers!

Awesome, loving it. Congrats, iichiversii.

Awesome work Ken. Some of your models remind of a cityscape I saw in a movie recently called Space Pirate; Captain Harlock.
Thanks for your kind words and for sharing the video link, Cyberdactyl. I am a fan of Anime and very familiar with Captain Harlock. I watched the original series back in the early 80's. Great stuff.
Here are some closeup images with overlayed wireframe for those interested to see.
Have a great day!

Awesome models and renders, Chirs!
It's great to see another fellow concept artist in this forum.
Your design reminds me of some sci-fi conceptual models I did for a MMO called Defiance (there is also a tv series on SyFy channel).
Cheers!

Beautiful photos, Allan.
Now show us your renders...
Cheers!

Really excellent models and renders, Alvydas.
Are the textures done in SketchUp or do you add them in postwork/Photoshop (e.g. overlay)?
Thanks and have a great day!

I thought limit was 1600 pixels?
I was thinking the same thing.
@ Rich: how did you manage to post 4000 pixel image, almost 3MB?
Hello there,
Here's a hangar I did for one of my space fighters.
That model was quite big with 865,369 quads/tris.
SketchUp + Vray for sketchUp + Photoshop
Hope you like it.
Have a great weekend!
