ok i'm a complete noob at sp and physics in general, but not at sketchup. so here's my question i created a series of gears and set one as the motor. on my first model the motor moves, but when engaged with the gears is does nothing (actually it stutters for a while like its stuck). i have them set to rotate correctly based on the first (motor) rotation. I also checked to make sure no other elements were "joined" besides the ones i needed. Still no go.

i then tried to create a new model using a gear generator program online (thinking) maybe my gears weren't meshing properly. In this model i could not even get the motor to rotate.

im dealing with small dimensions (ig 1/2" diameter, 1" diameter, etc...) can anyone shed some light on this for me what i may be doing wrong..
