    • RE: External program sketchy physics variables

Its not possible to acsess the variables directly. i think

Hopefully this will be implemented in the spiv thru some dll or something

I have managed to get around it and create good results

i program the keys to spesific values i need, then i make a program that programatically pushes buttons on the keyboard and set up the sequences i need.

I working on a compiled version i will share, but it will take some time due to licensing issues. i have made the program in Labview

    • RE: Rendering SketchyP. animations with Kerkythea

as far as i know there is no object animation render plugin available at this point.

it looks like a new version of skindigo (su - indigo)is not that far away that will handle this

you find more info and a video here: http://whaats-up.blogspot.com/

      Check out this video!:

I belive its a upcoming new feature to the skindigo exporter for sketchup to Indigo. I havent been able to find any more information on it so if someone has any news i would be glad to know

Indigo is a simple and powerful renderer that lets you render standard sketchup animations (not object animation so far).

I wanted to the same as you, so i found a way around using sketchup drawings in Blender

    • RE: Is anyone using SP in thier actual business?

I run a startup company that takes on projects within laboaratory automation.
For me the best thing would be if i could conrol the motion with my externally written application
wich would make su/sp a brilliant tool for rapid prototyping of machines.

So i belive that sp has a great potensial for businnes use. much becouse of the easey 3d enviroment and no cost makes it a great choise for startups, and smb`s if motion could be controlled by external code like the weemote does..

With a renderer it would also become a great marketing tool

      Regards Fredrik
