Alexander and Kristoff,
I did try to use the free version of Instant Roof but it doesnt
work for low pitched roofs and so i just used Tigs Roof.rb and
placed roof tile components above it. There should be some roof
tiles somewhere in this forum that ive been using.
About Mediterranean style I dont know anything about styles.
I have seen Mediteranean Spanish houses on the web and
just learning about them.
The door is from Google Warehouse and did some changes on it.
Working on this garage but to close to the sidewalk and need to work
on a driveway.

Needed Architectural Foam Moulding and made some.
Columns are from the 3D-Warehouse.

Working on an Octagon Roof.
Ratio or pitch is only 4:12 and Width is a little over 22 feet.
Don't try to rotate or move around its only a picture.

Ya, I'm addicted to rendering. Started again about a week ago with
the same old model. Made some fixes of my Blender materials before
I start creating and rendering other models.

Trying to learn how to make rocks with blender.
Made one for Sketchup.
There are 2 diffused(Small and Large grain) and a normal map for render engines.

3rd render on the top.
Ive been trying to work with stone walls but a little to tough to figure them out.
Im using a blender material on a wall with uv's from SketchUp. There isnt much depth on the stone because its normal maps and not displacements.
The 4th on the top is displaced a little.
Thanks, Roger,
Yes, that seems to look better. I like that contrast and it makes it look clean.
There is an option that comes with blender and its called Ambient Occlusion. I just have to increase it some. Another option is ambient color.
Below is another render with different settings. I think there is a bug with the Blender program (alpha version). There is a streak on the left side.
Also,had to change the grass.
Roger,
Have been thinking that the shadow side might be a little to dark. Im still trying out different settings. Ive seen examples on this forum where shadows look dark. Ive seen some from silver_shadow, freeagent, kwistenbiebel and even solo.
Darks are here:

Blender render,
Experimenting with the light being reflected from the cube on the shadow side. I didnt want to reflect to much, dont know how other render engines would do.

Made an ugly tree with ngPlant. I dont know how they look until they are rendered. Its very big and had to shrink it to make it fit in the scene. Its a 49.4 mb tree, something SU will be able to handle with ease in a few more years, Maybe?
I rendered this scene before with Blender, made a few changes, tried to make some improvements.

Thanks Olishea. Grass is a nice one. Was thinking maybe you should place one of Solo's Urinals there.
