How great SketchyPhysics is! (With Philips' help certainly ๐Ÿ’š )
I just divide the whole into several scenes and set up connections for each scene in order to get desired animation.

Please keep an eye on this topic, I have been working days and nights on this model.

      SketchyPhysics is incredible ๐Ÿ‘

I almost finish my complicated work that I thought I could not do.
Due to the movie is confidential, so that, I can not post now. I will
post it as soon as possible (really impressive and complicated).

At present, I have a problem involving movie render. Sketchup display is
quite dark when recording, therefore, the movie seems too dark. I have tried
to turn on "shadow function" to light up the model but it becomes really low speed.

Do you have another way to make the movie more bright?

      Thanks in advance,

    • RE: Why error occurs when I start SketchyPhysics?

Only SketchyPhysics could help me now, thus, I keep going with SP. Could you explain to me some parameters as below (how they affect the model):

      • defaultobjectdensity
      • framerate
      • gravity
      • worldscale

I set the gravity to 100, I see my model much more real than before ๐Ÿ˜„

In addition, I divide the whole scenario into several phases, so that if I want to animate phase n, I have to move and rotate elements in accordance with phase n-1 using SketchyPhysics. My question is that could I stop the animation and save as a scene like the way Sketchup does in stead of moving elements?

Today is a happy day of mine, I have finished 80% of the modelling work.

      Thanks in advance,

Your opinion seems true about copy and array commands.
If it is true, I have to spend nearly one week to copy, paste, move...

However, I will try to copy, paste, move some typical elements in the hope that it works.

    • RE: Why error occurs when I start SketchyPhysics?

I think the problem is not the object quantities, because my real model has three times more than the model that I posted here. Without the scaffolding (in blue), it works well. The error occurs only when I add scaffolding and array it.

Furthermore, If I array the scaffolding but move it outside the bridge, it works well, too. It means this error does not depend on object quantities..?

Maybe too many objects overlap each other? Thus, the algorithm of Sketchy causes crash?

    • Why error occurs when I start SketchyPhysics?

      Hi,

I have modeled a possible breakdown involving my work. SketchyPhysics plug-in is incredible to me to do this kind of work. However, I do not know why error raises when I press Run button to start SketchyPysics2 (It causes GoogleSketchup crash). The link below contains the two files:

T13 v16 Origin: runs without errors
      T13 v16 Errors: error occurs
      http://www.mediamax.com/dinhcongphuc/Hosted/SKPError

The only difference between the two files is that in "T13 V16 Errors" I explode and array the scaffolding (in blue).

I have tried hard to change the model aimed at finding the error, however, it is hopless.

Please give me a hand with this error!

      Thanks a lot,
