I never thought I'll find you here until now (this forum doesn't let you see a user's threads like it used to). Really digging that Lambo-esque concept.

RE: Can't get SP2 to work with SU7
Now, If I remember correctly, all you have to do is move the Sketchyphysics folder, sketchysolids.rb and the sketchyphysics.rb files.
Worked for me.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
HyperShot is an amazing software. I got it a few days ago but I'm having trouble with saving the images. Must be my pc since it didn't meet some (cough most cough) of the requirements. But I did get it to work once...
Yes, I completely forgot about the lighting...Update: Here's the edit.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Gotta agree with you about the SU addiction. Happened to me before (still does). Once I'm onto something, I'll go on forever until it's done. That's why I don't want to start making cars until summer.
I thought I'd stimulate the "interwebz" by this picture of the Artega. I've been working on rendering again and the result just keeps getting better and better!

RE: Green Toaster's Car Sketches
I've spent the last hour and half going through this thread and I couldn't come up with a single excuse why I never bothered to check this out before. I really like your method. First off you start with a shape, and then it gets better, and better, and better...
So far I got to page 39 and I'm really impressed.

have quite high performance computer to get results like that.
Haha. Not quite... Here's the shocker:I use Vista with a 512MB card.
The Artega is done; just a few flaws left. I'll upload it this weekend.
Oh and I'm thinking of doing some render work for a few weeks. I'm going to start with the Maverick GT. Should I post them here or send it to you by email?

RE: Ray Ochoa- My Car WIPs and final renders
You know what, I'm going to start following this thread. I never got any updates of your models after you stopped uploading. So yeah, keep making awesome stuff.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I've been working on some wheels lately and I thought it might be time to (place Obama reference here). I noticed that you make wheels using a 100-faced circle
. What I did is double the standard amount to 48. I could try 96, but size is an issue.
Here's an example I did for Alex's Viper:
![Everything except for the brake pads and the disk vents were "enhanced"](/uploads/imported_attachments/ENwC_2.png "Everything except for the brake pads and the disk vents were "enhanced"")
And yes, first attempt. -
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I'll stick to the website. It's much more friendlier than Picasa's layout IMO.
I've been working on the Artega and made a render too. The design is incomplete but I thought I'd upload a teaser...
This one is going to be different since I'm trying to keep the visual aspect of the car as real as possible. So yeah, no fancy widebody stuff... -
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
That hood vent is awesome! Is it me or does the GT70's rear look wide? If so, then it must be the rear tires.
By the way, I've been working on the Artega and I managed to reduce the size to 4.05 MB(3.05 MB without the tires).

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Amazing work...
I just thought about violation and all. I think you didn't claim credit for the model. It's a feature in SU7. I think the contributors can delete the model if they want to, say, in case someone reuploaded it for no reason. So you might want to reupload...
Oh yeah, in case you guys don't know how crazy Rogue is, let me remind you:
If I were you, I would make a circle, pull it out, smooth it and call it a day. -
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Great! I love the XJ. It looks awesome with the huge five spoke wheels.

Donโt you think it gives it depth?
It may be the angle but those tires look huge. If that's the objective then I suggest you make the rear tire wider (and that's coming from a tuner, wait a minute...). Right now it looks a bit "odd". Once again, it might just be the angle.
I think you have to go with Goldilocks' plan. Not too big, not too small, just right... Lol.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Hmmm... wasn't the model available here a while ago? I've been sitting in front of the Pc all day, working on the model and constantly pressing F5. It's just a while ago I thought "Oh wait, I'm human too". So I got up, got something to eat and sat in front of the TV.
Just as I got back, I saw the model gone. Good idea though, since the shenanigans aren't just limited to the warehouse.
I'm also thinking of that huge D.T Homework and the upcoming mega Physics test as I type. Right...

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Moar updates on the Cobra please. I acually like the no-quarter-window look. I've done something similar to a Shelby GT500.
And the racing model.
Or you could try the Saleen look.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Is it me or will the D-020 go perfectly with the Taunus? Hmm...
-
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Sweet! I just had so many ideas in my head just by looking at the pictures of the GT70.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
That Edge wheel looks seriously good. Too bad they didn't save it for a large sedan or the V6 Mustang. It looks tiny on the Edge.
Like I said in the warehouse, the update is coming out well. Worth the wait IMO.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Yeah, I'm working on some right now. I have entries for FJC and Anton's contests, the Scirocco GT24 (just have the front fascia to work on) and a Nissan ute (SilCamino) which I'm going to upload soon.
