    • Copy along a path plugin

      Hello all.

I was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with this plugin. I am trying to add what they call a "soldier course" border to a patio I am building. This consists of 6"x9" rectangles stood end to end the long way all the way around the patio. I've done some playing with different shapes and have been able to achieve the results I want, but I'm having trouble with consistency. Here are my issues:

      1. When using the script, I will select the line and the rectangle and it will place the array properly. Then I'll select the next line and it will place the soldier course on the opposite side of the line as the previous one. Not always, but there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to which side of the line the script chooses to attach to. Any ideas for this?

      2. Attaching the same brick border to a curved line. In my practicing, I find I am able to do this well if I increase the line segments in the curve to a higher number. However, when I import a CAD file, I am unable to increase the line segments as it is grayed out as an option, thus my border bricks overlap and look a mess. I also have the same problem with consistency on which side of the line the script chooses to attach to. Any suggestions?

Keep in mind that the "bricks" I am adding, are not popped up, but are just flat 2D rectangles. Also, i do group the rec before I try and copy along the path.

      Thanks all!

      Adam
