Just a wooden box - nothing special.
I actually only share it here because of the texturing.
You can use it in the background in a warehouse or something.

Cool. Here's one I did for a friend. He had finished making a wooden box as a gift, but he couldn't decide what kind of legs to put on it. The figure on the wood was gorgeous, so I used that as the texture and modeled the box. Then we could try lots of different feet to see what worked best.

...why my modeling takes so long: before I stored this beautiful little banana box away for lots of use, I had to flip the interior faces so the knotholes lined up. Hope you'll do that for me next time, Gai :`)

Lovely textures on both, thanks, Tom.

LOL, I was thinking my woodworking tools but bananas sound much better.

              Nice box Gai

                  Hi Guys,
love the textures. I would hazard a guess that the box will feet was made in American black walnut. Looks good.
                  cheers
                  Alan

I don't know, Alan - I just found the textures and started to play around with them
May not be a perfectly modelled / textured one (it's from my "early ages").
Yet may be useful somewhere in the background (and it's not a high-poly, heavy material one either).

Gai...I must strongly protest: I think this box is beautifully modeled and textured (otherwise I wouldn't have poked some fun :`) I see it as a great "what's in the box" zen object for compositions like the Boabab I was working with a while back...just perfect!
                      My best, Tom.

                        Hm...

There is some problem with the file though - I textured it with GMLTexturizer plugin and Kerkythea for instance cannot find any of the textures.
What I guess, GML Texturizer creates new textures from the old ones (not sure about this though) and when I deleted some of the (seemingly) unnecessary textures to purge the model (before posting it here), I seem to incidentally delete the needed ones, too.

I may try to redo the whole thing to see what's up.

Also, since GML Texturizer positions and distorts the texture, Kerky may not be able to handle it (I read some posts by Tomasz regarding this kind of issues though mainly with photomatch - and I don't know ruby at all anyway so I'm not sure this would be the case here, too).

                        Gai...
