Z POSITION
-
Can someone please tell me how to determine the Z position of any part of my sketchup model?

There are two ways;
-
there is the "Query tool" under the Tools > Utilities (provided you have enabled the extensions under Window > Preferences > Extensions)
-
Put a Text label there and it will (by default) give you the x/y/z co-ordinates (in thios order).

Thank you Gaieus for your prompt assistance. That solved my problem. I have been having problems with Sketchup lately and I just noticed that all of my extensions were turned off (not by me). I am just wondering whether my settings have been corrupted and whether I can do anything about it.
