Wall color

This may be a dumb question but what does it mean when one wall is a different color than all the others? I am attempting my first house model. All of the walls, interior and exterior, are either white or the light grey shadow except one, which is a darker blue grey. A few of the faces of the door openings are also this blue grey while all the others are "normal". I suspect this means there is something not quite right with the geometry of these faces or there is a line or line segment I can't see somewhere. Could someone please explain this?

Have you painted any of the faces with a color or are they all default?

I'm going with the obvious answer since you say this is your first house model...
If you right-click the face, and select Reverse Face, does it fix the face?

They are the default colors...Reverse face corrected the problem. Thanks.

Jmac,
It's a good habit to make your model so that there are no backsides ("blue")faces visible. Also, always try to apply "paint" on the front sides only. This is because sooner or later you'll want to make renders in some other application, and renderers usually don't play well with backfaces-some of them don't show them altogether. In SU itself there is generally no difference.

Thanks Anssi. I went thru and cleaned up all the "blue" walls. I'll keep your suggestion in mind as I try to work thru this.
