I wish I had more time (in general).

Granted, but no buts about it. When you go home look at your kid(s) and realize what little time you have with them is precious, and you want to make sure you are there for them. How's that for motivation?
I wish Eric would give me back that general time.

Granted but due to the cut in interest rates and the losses suffered by the French Bank you get less time than you lost in the first place.

Granted, you have a very focused staring contest with your daughter.
You stare at each other for 47 minutes 16 seconds until she cracks a smile. You Win! 
Unfortunately now you can't loose that focused intensity. You are locked in a stare... It is a curse! You are forced to wear dark glasses. 
They look cool but make it hard to drive at night.I wish I could get paid for granting wishes...

Granted but you have to go to a five day residential in Alaska.
I wish that I could work from home.
(Gai - Yeah had some holiday and then been really busy, its nice to have some time to write some posts)

Granted but your wife leaves you with a list of 'little' chores to do each day "as your home" that take 8 hours to complete.
I wish people would stop assuming that because I 'can' fix their computer that I 'will' and that I will enjoy the challenge of doing it!

I wish that when I am given work to do, I have more than a week before the deadline to do it.
