i know this has been treated in the old forum (i think alan fraser, gully and gaeius dealt with it there) and that burkhard has touched the subject here just a few days. nonetheless, the thing remains a mistery to me.

first, there is a problem with the import material plugin. i am trying to import wood textures out of a folder containing 6 or 7. it imports the first one fine but it keeps importing that one even though i select others. i end up with several copies of the same texture instead of several different ones.

how do you move a texture from one library to another from inside the materials browser?

how can one import a texture and put them in a library for future use? right now all i have been able to do is to import them into the In Model folder.

i am running SU6 Pro on Mac.

Click on the icon to the right " add library and save library to favorites.

Also you can use drag and drop by opening the second material window

thanks, burkhard. on the mac the materials browser is different. there is no right arrow nor can i open a second window. but i am finding the ways to achieve the same results.
