Simple problems

Hello, I'm really loving this plugin, but I'm having some problems. Starting with the basics, I'm trying to make a simple catapult. When I try to place two hinges on one object(the board) and attach another object (the weight) to one of the hinges it doesn't work. I know it must be simple because of all the great examples in the warehouse.

Are you holding down the Ctrl key while using the Joint Connector to join the weight and hinge? It took me a while to work that out- it's not very clear in the instructions. Hold down the Shift key to disconnect.

Jackson thanks for your reply, I think I finally have it. I wasn't grouping correctly, that was throwing me off.
