I have a large complex file that I'm working on, an apartment building with many curved surfaces that has developed through a number of iterations over time, and I'm trying to export an animation for my client to preview. Stats after purging are showing 30M edges and 18.1M faces.
I'm running an Intel Core i9-14900K with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.
The operating stats are showing that I'm using max 11% CPU capacity and 1% GPU.
I realise that the size is the issue with speed, and I'm about to take it to another program for construction drawings, but should I be able to make better use of the computers capabilities?

What version of SKetchUp are you using?

SketchUp, like other 3D modeling applications, will only use a single core of the CPU so the 11% CPU usage shouldn't be surprising.

@Dave-R Thanks Dave. It's the current Pro version.

You might see what changing the graphics engine dos. Some folks have seen an improvement in performance by doing that.
