Please, help. It has been bugging me to the point when I decided to come here.
When I switch from parallel projection to perspective, my view jumps forward and I lose my subject.

If you experienced this before and you know how to cure it - PLEASE help.

(I think this problem appeared in 2021 or 2020, before it was switching nice and smooth)

      Thank you!

It sounds to me as if you have the camera very close to the model when you are in Parallel Projection. That sort of thing won't show, though, until you go to Perspective view. Many users seems to get themselves set ut with the opposite problem with the camera a long way from the model in Parallel Projection and when they switch to Perspective the model disappears.

Switch to Perspective, hit Zoom Extents, and then go to Parallel Projection.

Are you modeling in Parallel Porjection or just setting up scenes with it.

BTW, please update your forum profile. It says you're using SketchUp 2013.

still annoying though. I didn't have this trouble for 20 years of using SU.
