Fredo 6 - Clip Editor size is too small.

I hope this one is easy - When I select the "Clip Editor" to start an animation, sometimes the tools are so small I cannot use. Sometimes the tools are at a comfortable size. I have tried to understand why this occurs, but it seems to have a mind of it's own whether it is large or too small.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated for this old mans eyes.
