Folks, SUp 2022, I can't import, or Copy Paste components into a skp file I have open, all I see is the bounding box. Never had this happen before so what gives?

Can you attach the model so we can check it to rule it out.

Right on Box, OK I deleted lot of things but the people components I'm trying to insert are still in the components tab.

You have the relevant people tags turned off.

I need to learn about Tags now! What were tags called before these SUp versions with the Tray?

Tags were called layers, they behave the same, just a different name.
Only assign a tag to groups or components or dimensions etc, never to raw geometry.

How is it that there were already Tags in the manager, that were turned off? Or were those created during my Import attempts?

If you import things from the warehouse you import all the foibles of the model, that can mean several unused or hidden tags/layers. So how you got all the tags is unknown to me. But it is the reason we often recommend that you open downloaded things in a separate file and clean them up before adding them to your model. Cleaning them up can include removing tags you don't want. Along with all sorts of possible junk and bad modelling.

No these were people.skp I've had since the early 2000s. Not a big deal now that I know about tags.
