Legacy Classic losing access to a number of features

I received a message from our local dealer advising that..

As a Legacy Classic customer, you will soon lose access to a number of features. Customers can now migrate to subscription with a discount before the year end.
When contacted, he noted that in future I'll be unable to transfer over my current 2021 perpetual license to another PC.
Has anyone else been informed of this? -
There wasa notification sent out in the last month or so. It indicated that at the end of the year the warehouses and geo-location features will no longer support older versions of Sketchup. It seemed to me they were referring to SketchUp 2019 and older. Maybe 2020, too. At this point I wouldn't expect this to affect SketchUp 2021 but there will come a time when those web-based services won't support SketchUp 2021. Based on the End of Support Policy that would occur on January 31, 2024. You should be able to continue using SketchUp without those web services, though.

I doubt this would be the case. He is a reseller after all and may want to sell you something.
Don't hold me to this but, generally if you have the correct license information and have removed the license from the old machine, you can install and license on a new machine, provided you haven't installed a newer version on that machine. (licensing a newer version would effectively lock the old version to its current machine so that you couldn't sell your old license after upgrading.)

Dave/Box,
Thanks to you both for responding. Your comments are what I thought previously.
I get the feeling that I was getting a bit of scare mongering to encourage us to migrate to the subscription model.
