I use two plugins for making stairs, S.D. (Sam) mitch stair maker and stair concrete. For the most part, they do what I need. My problem with Sam's stair maker is that if you are making a "U" or "L" stair, the landing has to be in the middle of the stair count. For example, if you have a 16 tread stair at a 7" rise, and try to put the landing anywhere but 8 steps, the rise changes. Of course, I can modify the stairs to work, but it takes a lot of time. I can build stairs totally manually, but again there is the time factor.
The most current plugins do way more than I need, like GK Ware and Maj Stair. Mainly my stairs are simple commercial types with simple steps and rectangular steel stringers.
A plug-in that would do those would be handy.

Just tossing this out there to see what happens, have a great Sunday!

Have you had a look at S4U StairMaker (currently V5)? Note: it's not free, purchase link in the description of the extension, currently going for $25 I believe.
