Honestly, I can't figure this one out yet. I need a side profile and one does not exist, so I'll have to invent one.

It can't be done. The design looks cool but it actually doesn't work. I've tried over a dozen different ways to model this and the design is pure fantasy.
So I'll make something that might be close. Maybe. Sort of.

On to the exterior and interior detail work! The cabin details are just placeholders right now.

Cool. I get 'Survey ship' myself. Lots of sensors and views of whatever is being researched/surveyed.

Like I said, it would be close. I could see the actual shape required in my head, but I could not arrive at a solution to model it. Far too many compound curves. So this is close enough. Very close except for the bow. But it works for me.

Doing the hard things is how I get better. I'm still not where I want to be after 10 years of using SU. But right now, my hardware is holding me back. Hopefully I will be able to finally upgrade this year.
