          You know you've done a great job when someone pulls you up on a technicality.

          You never have glass to metal without a flexible spacer. There would be a thin spacer between the glass and the fitting, usually black or clear white, and it would be in the hole as well which would cause that to look ever so slightly different, and the hole being a drilled hole would have a ground surface.
          I really couldn't resist, had to find a fault somewhere. πŸ’š

            Yes. You're right. I needed to pay attention to that. After all, I knew it. The part that points to the glass is black and very thin, but the rod is steel. He really had to be black.
