Extruding lines in faces

Is there a faster way to turn these lines into faces (flat bars 25mm by 3mm thick) without doing it line by line using the powerbar plugin? I want to create a pattern like this

If your faces are "plane" just use Generate Faces (right Click Contextual) by Fredo Tools on Surfaces

Which lines? Do you mean you want to have faces inside all areas bounded by edges? That is not extrusion. Try the "Addfaces" plugin.

Can be applied to your all image in one pass (surrely very long calculus)
So better calculate one then to make some Dim repeat
