For those interested Layers Organizer disables the "Redo" function in SU2020. This was discovered after hours of works setting up the Organizer Panel.

Layers Organizer (paid extension) is based on Layers Panel (free extension). Thomas is still credited but it is no longer his extension.
They took his base extension (which worked well, but had some bugs and was no longer being developed), with his permission, and developed it further. It has become an essential part of my SketchUp use.
And thanks for the heads up, I have not noticed the effect you speak of as I have not modeled much in the last couple of months.
