Anyone heard from Majid lately?

I know Iran has been hit pretty hard and he has not been around as far as I have seen. Be nice to know he and his family are OK.
Hopefully we can all knuckle down and come through the other end well.

Wow , I am overwhelmed... Thanks a million...it is somehow hard to believe in this busy world someone may think about me and my family! thanks Mike!
I've been more than busy nowadays by family jobs mainly... In fact my son birth was this month (7th of March).
March 20 is the first day of new year due to Persian calendar, we call it Nouruz and usually meet each other and celebrate, but this year because of novel COVID-19 outbreak we all stayed at home and exchanged salutations via WhatsApp application or by phone. Also I've been at home lately as the jobs are in a temporary halt mode... I hope the situation could be solved soon.
So please accept my warmest regards and best wishes for new year and lets pray for our heroes (physicians and nurses) and an antidote in near future, I also hope we could defeat the crisis shortly all over the world. I hope this will lead to a brighter future as usually crises will speed up changes. We could pray for positive changes towards knowledge and mutual understanding and sympathy. Thanks again Mike!

Congratulations and blessings! Take care and be well, Majid.

Congratulations to you and your wife on the birth of your son.
It is good to hear you are all safe.
To everyone around the world we can be strong together but only together, doing what we can do towards a better future where being the best human being we can be today is the only goal and everything else hangs on that.
But, do remember to have a laugh on the way.
A man goes into a chemist and asks the chemist if he has anything for a cough. He is hacking and coughing constantly.
The chemist explains that he is going for his lunch but the assistant can help.
An hour later the chemist gets back and the same guy is leaning on his shop window, face red as a beetroot, so he goes inside and asks the assistant what he did.
"Well, I gave him a whole bottle of laxative".
The chemist is appalled and tell the assistant he is fired.
The assistant asks if he can keep his job if the patient is cured and the chemist say's, "Of course".
The assistant asks, "Is he coughing"?

Not that bad. If it was not Covid-19 era, we were on vacation of new year. This year we are at home. Also I believe the statistics are clear enough. And to add more, the novel virus death rate in its peak is twice as more as routine car accident death in our country!!! We dance with death! .
The office jobs will be in semi halt mode till the next week.
Today is a gloomy rainy day here. -
Majid, good to have a confirmation that you and your family are ok. Congratulations to both of you with baby Yeganegi! What great news!!!
-
Thanks Duane, for all of your kind words!

Good to see you are safe and well Majid, and congratulations on the birth of your son.
I remember many times over the years you would disappear from various forums for a while and have us all wondering if you were OK, and then you'd pop up, always cheerful, and always with a positive spin on life.
You are highly respected and much loved my freind.
