Plugin that generates rectangle perp to view

I recall some years back there was a plugin that would generate a rectangle that was perpendicular to the current view and that matched the size and proportion of the current viewport (filled the whole screen).
I can't recall what it was called and I haven't been able to locate it via keyword searches. If this rings a bell, please let me know where I might find it again!
