      wormley a frame chair.jpgA Midcentury Modern chair by Edward Wormley (1907-1995), prolific American furniture designer.This one, from about 1960, is known as the A Frame chair. Dunbar manufactured the original. The model owes its existence to Curviloft, which I used to shape the legs from rectangular to round, and to create the shape for the cane back.

                Thanks, HornOxx, for your eagle eye. I somehow let the rear leg caps dip a fraction of an inch below the ground plane.
