Hi. - I have created a model and then decided to add a radius to an external corner - then problem is the radius will start inside the model - Have added an attachment - its an X-ray view. - have also attached a normal view. I have tried using the follow me and the push/pull tool to no avail. Any Ideas how I can create the radius would be much appreciated people. Many thanks and thanks for reading this. Chris

I believe it is being blocked by the geometry on the right. Either place it clear of the corner ( place the arc down lower on the path) or temporarily isolate that geometry from the face and the path. In the former case you can then clean up the miter corner afterward. Fredo's round corner is good for this, if you have a lot of this sort of thing, but in this case it shouldn't take much to make it work with native tools. I would be trying to use follow-me on that outside sliver and you don't need the inside face of the radius .

Many thanks for your help - it was the 'hide' that was causing me the issue - I had used X-ray assuming that this was just another form of hide - silly me.

You're right, many things can be done to the innards in x-ray mode. Picking that face with follow-me seems too tricky for it though.

Actually I tried it and I didn't have a problem doing it your way with follow-me, so I don't know what is stopping you, without checking the file. I placed the sliver for the follow me, and I had to hide the outside face of the shape to click on the sliver for the operation.

There are many ways to do this. You may have less clean-up if you start your sliver shape lower down at the inside edge of the miter. The finish work at the miter is similar but you aren't left with extra geometry inside of the shape. You could have used follow-me on the whole path (including the upper rounding) and it would be faster.
