Our office upgraded to Windows 10 and my Windows Movie Maker is not included nor is it downloadable or supported.

Any good suggestions? Free or paid for.

I typically take .avi files I have from a screen recording program and use WMM for compiling, changing speed, adding text, adding music etc. Then we upload to Youtube for clients to view progress.

    Pretty basic.

    Thanks.

      Boo
I have very little experience w/video editing but found Adobe Premiere Elements fairly intuitive.

I also recently found out about & tried Blenders video editor.....but having little to no Blender experience....I quickly reverted to Premiere to get out what I needed done.

So since Blender is free.....maybe give that a go.

I got the latest CyberLink PowerDirector because I needed to get some videos on DVD. Seems to be a pretty robust editor. It has output for things like Youtube too.

The good old VirtualDub works perfectly under Windows 10 - and it's free …
And another recommendation is Shotcut - also free.
I use VirtualDub more for filtering and composing individual frames from animations or exporting image sequences.
Shotcut is good for overlaying video tracks, filters, audio, (titles) and the final cut.

Hi - I am using Magix Video deLuxe Premium for ages - of course in newer versions over the years.
Without having too much experience with other video editors, I appreciate here that I have as many video tracks as I want (at least 100, I never counted them πŸ˜„ ). Also, it doesn't matter if you're pulling a video file or an audio file in.
Great is the automatism to make crossfades e.g. by simply dragging different tracks into each other or also to separate video and audio tracks from each other by simple right clicking option etc etc ...

and this is the video done as shown in the picture πŸ˜‰
