      Hi!

I am modeling a site using proposed contours. The way I have been taught to make accurate and editable topo is to go two contours at a time and use the sandbox tool from contours to create a surface from each interval (see model screenshot). While this enables me to drape linework over the surfaces that change elevation, you see the harsh lines that translate over to both Vray and Lumion (see other image). Is there anyway to smooth out the contours so that you do not see the lines? I have tried Toposhaper and other plugins in the past but they aren't really created for landscape architects that need to heavily manipulate surfaces. The further you zoom out, the worse it is. The purpose of the model is to show a realistic view from a zoomed out aerial, so this is very important. I have tried Photoshopping it but it's not a clean way to do it.

      Thanks!

By using only two contours each time you are naturally creating hard edges at each join.
Use more contours and get smoother transitions.
