Hi To all the SketchUp team!!
It's been some time, I'm happy to be back!

I'm currently fiddling with dynamic components for the firm I work for. It turns out that it would be interesting (=necessary) if a plugin could exclude the hidden objects from being recognized as entities when generating the report.

Many of my components have optional sub-objects: when the attribute is FALSE, the object is hidden, but it's still there, and it's visible in my report. I'd like not to export it at all.

Is it in some way possible?

    Thank you in advance!

there is an option to report only the selected components, and to choose the number of levels of sub components you report; so with that, you should be able to exclude some components of the report

Hi glro! Thanks for you reply!
..unfortunately this solution doesn't fit my needs: I'm working with medium-complexity dynamic components and I was wondering if there was some tool capable not to export some of their INNER object I may actually want to make present or not.
Say: you have a door and you can choose whether to have a door handle or not. In case you choose not to have it, I'd like to make it invisible (and I can do it with DC attributes) and I'd like not to export it in my components report.

Do you understand what I mean?
