Replacement for Freedxf plugin?

I've been using SketchUp 14 free version since it came out, because I frequently need to import dxf files and the Freedxf plugin enabled me to do so. Now I understand that the author of the plugin no longer supports it. I'd like to use the latest (free) version of SketchUp, and I'm wondering if there are any other plugins that enable importing dxf files. I searched the forums, but didn't find any recent discussions of this.

Sadly the author of this plugin has past away (rip, Honoluludesktop!).
So this plugin is also not supported anymore.
Then there is https://pcon-planner.com/en/download/
It can convert your dxf to a v14 .skp
