Hi I am running Sketchup 17 and downloaded TIG's version - HouseBuilder_metric_12%5BTIG%5D- (many thanks to him!!) It seems to work well.
Being in Australia our standard lumber sizes for house framing are 35x90 and 45x90 mm. These sizes are not catered for in the program - but according to Steve Hurlbutt you can edit the lumber section in "Housebuilder_sections.txt".
I have tried this and can't get it to work. I edit "Housebuilder_sections.txt" file adding 35x90 and 45x90 mm. But it does not show up in the drop down menu. Even though it is save to the "Housebuilder_sections.txt" file.
What am I doing wrong? Any assistance would be much appreciated.
      Thanks
      Sandy
