Yes I'm stuck in the '60's..... Found a small pic of this end table lamp online. Had to do a model. The end table itself without the lamp would be a cool addition to the house. Just where would you find the shade for something like this 😎 ? Quickie render in Twilight.

Google " custom lampshade makers" in your area. They are more common than you think.

Or alternatively you could make it from sheet polypropylene as used by IKEA in many of their lamps and fix it as in my crude illustration, through the overlapping seem, and perhaps run the power cord inside the upright doing away with the centre cable post that hampers the usable surface.Lamp 2.png

L i am , Appreciate your responses although I have to admit the comment about the shade was a little "tongue in cheek". Not the sort of thing you'd find on the shelf at "Lamps are Us"....
              Dave R , Thank you !

If you are referring to "custom lamp shade makers' you simply give them dimensions and they make it to that size that's why its called "custom" Have no idea about "tongue in cheek"

Thanks David and yes it's pretty odd, I think that's why I had to spin out a model....
