More Frank Gehry

I finally came across good images for another of architect Frank Gehry's bentwood chairs. This one is the "High Sticking" chair. (Gehry, a native Canadian, is a huge hockey fan.) All that's left on the model is to weave the slats to form the seat. Tedious work. I'll post the finished model in a few days.
Enjoy.

and again such a very ambitious dh-thing - I'm already looking forward to it

Thank you, sir.
In fact, there are only four unique components in the model, so it's easy to assemble. I did have to add a little twist to each side-to-side slat, so the top edge aligns with the front-to-back slats, which are slightly pitched and not dead-flat horizontal. The weaving takes time, since I have to add curves to each slat, one at a time. And I often lose my place and go over when I should go under. The weaving is a good activity to pursue when there's nothing compelling on TV.
Best,

Nice! I saw that and thought you might model it.

Yeah, Dave, I couldn't help myself. I've long been looking for good views of this chair and other bentwood pieces. And thanks for the good words, tuna.
