I have not been doing walk through animations for some time. The last was in 2012. I've just been asked I can do one. I can't remember how I did it in the past, but I feel like the was a plugin I had that had the camera follow a path. I remember laying in the path, but I don't remember if it generated the scenes, or if I did. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I beleive Fredo's animator plugin is the go.... I am going to have a play with it over the Xmas break to brush up on my walk-thru skills too.

Not sure if there is a good tutorial out there; maybe i'll dive in and have a go!!

        Just Curious...

A good alternative is MSPhysics. You can program camera and targets on paths at any speed or control them directly with sliders. The entire model to be driven through is set as to be ignored in order not to be subject to gravity and to fall down.... The animation can be saved and output as a SketchUp, Indigo, Twilight or Kerkythea movie. A scene animation is also possible.
