I am trying to upgrade to 18 (through the Help Menu and through the SU website) and it says I'm currently using the latest version (2017).
What's up with that??

I'm getting the same response. However, checking my license is says it's been updated and I have the number. However no in-application link to the update.
Edit. Just got an email with the link.

Pro users should be receiving update emails in the next day or so.
But, if you want to upgrade now, you can check your license status here: https://www.sketchup.com/license/renew
Then you can download the new version of 2018 on the website and plug in your license info: https://www.sketchup.com/download/all
