I just talked about difference of physical and spherical sky in twilightrender with a friend. and about glowing lights

      here are some examples

I prefer spherical skys for better realism.

for better realism i ve made a depth render

and added a glow to the lights in Photoshop

      raw su

      physical sky

      spherical sky

Going by the cloudy sky I believe it is meant to be on the dark side, hence the lights on the car.
