I'm using Twilight Render and I have several surfaces that all use the same color but I want them to have different render characteristics i.e. shinny, flat, eggshell and so on. If I duplicate that color and now I have the name "copy" and try to paint a surface no mater what I do it seems to revert back to original in the colors palette in the Colors in Model. I have only been successful at choseing a different shade of say black or white or what ever color. Editing name doesn't change things and some times the color "color_009" becomes Material 07 or something. I've read SU's tutorials on Paint Bucket but I guess I just don't get it.

      Thanks

Walt, Duplicate your color in SU material editor. Example - Paint one surface lilac then right click and duplicate it and name the duplicate lilac2 then paint next surface with lilac2 and so on. When you give the material it's properties in Twilight you should have lilac, lilac2 lilac3 etc. Then each can be given unique render properties. It worked for me. I have no clue if there is a better way of doing it. Might take some time if you've got a lot of materials to do. Hope this helps. chuck.
