    This is a tricky one
I use an extension called Estimator to help me calculate the area and cost of surfaces in my drawings.
To use the extension to its fullest, objects must be saved as components. I have created a dynamic component of a shower stall, when i query the estimator extension to calculate the square footage of the surfaces it uses the original non scaled dimensions, any scaling i do to the dynamic component gets ignored. so my question is, does any one know how to delete the history associated with a scaled object, i notice that if you right click on a scaled group or component there is an option to reset scale., can i make the modified size default in some way so the estimating extension will hopefully capture the correct surface square footage.
Thanks, i realize this is really specific

      Hello,

I'm not sure your problem comes from the dynamic components, but rather from your surface estimator.

You can purge the dynamic functions of all your dynamic components by saving your files in SKP6.

The next time you open your file, your dynamic components will become simple components.

So make sure you keep an original version of your file.

You can then run a surface calculation that should work.

      See you soon.

      David
