Label <face area> adjust format?

I love using the label tool in layout to quickly grab the area of a face in sketchup. While I appreciate the 4 decimal points of accuracy in the default format, for architecture we are typically looking to round the nearest whole square foot. Its not a big deal to edit the text, but would be nice if we could adjust this. Is there is a way to adjust the format of the results?

in sketchup window/model info/units change the precision, save and update the layout model

It has been asked before that we could work in SU with any accuracy while in sketchup the format for annotations would be different.
It would also help to take away zeroes at the end of the decimal places as they have no meaning and take away space from drawing.
