I have a problem (new I think) in LO. I cannot click on any object and select it (left mouse button down. I have to drag select every time I want to select, which picks up unwanted selections of other objects. Any ideas why this is happening? Hard to work this way.

(EDIT: It seems this is just happening in one file at the moment.)

Thanks. It persists with LO restart. I'll restart system... All other left button functions in LO work fine.

            I've tried it both ways.

I found out it is just happening in a particular file. I am going to send it to Trimble.

I know now what is causing this, but I don't believe it should be so.

I am using an image (with transparent background) as my border. I want the border LAYER to be on top because of the way the SU references show a white background and I don't want parts of the border inadvertently covered by that. I lock the border layer but while that allows me to select other objects on lower layers it does not allow me to select them by mouse-down/click. I have to use the drag method to select anything.

Hiding the border layer, or moving it to the bottom fixes this. However I think that since I locked the border layer it should not interfere with selecting objects on other layers, whether the border layer is on top, visible or not.

That seams it should belong to a FR.
