      Hi!

I need to convert a sketch up file to maya to be rendered using vray. The sketch up scene was made using free warehouse models. And an collada export was used to get the scene to 3ds max first, where i fixed up the textures (reconnected the texture maps with a Standard shader). Then i took the scene to Maya (standard vray shader and previous texture maps were applied. The problem I am having is the following:
The scene looks fine in the viewport, all the textures are in place, no weird distortion of anything. But when the scene in rendered on some objects weird spotty blotches appear. Would anyone know what may be causing this? Since the models are free and the only sketch up export i can use is collada, they are in pretty bad shape topology wise, so I was wondering if there was an explanation for this beside fixing the topology or overlapping faces.

I'm uploading a file to show you what the problem is.
