Model size reduction/Model analyzer

I am looking to reduce the file size of a model I have been given, from roughly 100MB to roughly 50MB.
However, I want to loose as little info in the model as possible.

Is there such a plugin as a model analyzer? A plugin that would tell me for example, which components are the heaviest on polygons and MB's, which textures are the heaviest, and more such info.
