      Hi,
I'm a newbie to sketchup. I'm evaluating sketchup right now to see if I can implement it at our company. I've got following question : Is it possible to define a 'rule' in sketchup that says that you can only place a window/door on discrete X-values in a wall? I want that sketchup only allows the user to place components on a X-coordinate that is a multiplication of 30 and the Y value can be any value. Is there a setting in sketchup/component or do I have to write some ruby-code (like an addin) ? Or is it possible to define some kind of grid (on the wall), so when placing a component, sketchup automatically snaps to these gridpoints.

Hope I made myself clear with what I'm searching for ?

      Cheers,
