Tarpon

Knocked out a Tarpon model today.
First pic is the model straight out of SU
Second pic , set up a little scene. Quick render in Twilight and then got a little "arty" in Gimp.

That looks to be related to the Pike which makes it a predator, that and the large lower jaw. Not looked on google so far but a nice result mate.

Thanks Mike. Tarpon's a tropical saltwater fish. Pretty prehistoric, mouth like a concrete bucket, no teeth. Actually eats pretty small stuff considering how big they can get. Monsters can push over 6' and 200 pounds. chuck.

Nice work Charles.
I have been off doing some other things lately and have not gotten back to working with/learning Twilight.
Curious about what you had to do in Gimp to finish off the 2nd image.

Dave, Thanks, I get the other stuff to do. Sometimes doesn't seem like there's enough hours does it ? Took the raw render into Gimp and ran the "Colorize" tool, played with the settings a little in there. Then tweaked Hue & Saturation levels a little. Chuck.
